    Co-President

    Ally Landry is a Junior at Barnard College studying Economics and Psychology. Outside of CFIG, she is a Writing Fellow at Barnard’s Writing Center. During her Sophomore summer, she worked as a summer intern at Wellington Management in their late-stage venture capital group, and at PSG, a leading technology growth equity firm, as a summer analyst. Following her Freshman year, she worked as a U.S. compliance analyst at Wellington Management. Next summer, she will be a summer analyst at KKR. In her free time, Ally enjoys trying out workout classes across the city, traveling, and running.

  • Vince Smithangura GS '25

    Co-President

    Vince Smithangura is a Senior majoring in Financial Economics. Born and raised in Singapore, he has previously worked in Investment Banking and Private Equity across South East Asia. During his Junior summer, Vince was a Summer Analyst at Level Equity, a software and technology-focused Growth Equity firm based in NYC. Outside of school, Vince spends time taking photos, distance running, and trying new restaurants (add him on Beli: @vs)!

    Milagros Vera Elias is a Junior in Columbia College from Buenos Aires, Argentina majoring in Financial Economics with a minor in Psychology. Outside of CFIG, she's part of the Argentine Student Association at Columbia. In her sophomore summer, she interned at Bank of America as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst. She also participated in Girls Who Invest Online Intensive Program. In her freshman summer, she worked at an accounting firm in Argentina. In her free time, Milagros enjoys watching field hockey, running, playing tennis, trying out new coffee shops, and exploring the city.

    Vice President of External Affairs

    Emre Baser is a Junior in the School of Engineering studying Industrial Engineering. Outside of CFIG, he serves as Director of Partnerships and an E-Board Member at the Columbia Organization of Rising Entrepreneurs (CORE). During his sophomore summer, he worked as a Client Finance Intern at IPG Health, a leading global healthcare marketing agency, in their New York City office. In his freshman summer, he worked as a Business Intelligence Intern at Firefly, an out-of-home digital advertising company. In his free time, Emre enjoys outdoor running, trying out new restaurants, and watching Formula 1.

  • Maria Eduarda Rodrigues CC'26

    Maria Eduarda Rodrigues is a Junior in CC from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil majoring in Economics with a minor in Political Science. Outside of CFIG, she is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Epsilon Upsilon chapter. In her sophomore summer, Maria interned at Bank of America as an Investment Banking Sophomore Summer Analyst in the LatAm coverage group, to which she will be returning her junior summer. In her freshman summer, she worked in the Portfolio Solutions team at BTG Pactual, one of the largest investment banks in Brazil. In her free time, Maria likes to go for runs, try new restaurants in NYC and take pictures with her film camera.

    Romola Cavet is a Junior in SEAS from the Bay Area majoring in Applied Mathematics and minoring in Economics. During her sophomore summer, she interned at Altamont Capital Partners, an upper middle market Private Equity firm. Next summer, she will be joining Blackstone as a Private Equity Summer Analyst.     Isabel Gurney is a Sophomore at Columbia College from Washington, D.C., majoring in Economics with a minor in Visual Arts. Outside of CFIG, she is a member of the Design Team of Ratrock Magazine. During her freshman summer, she was an intern at the AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust, supporting the Portfolio Management, Marketing, and Multifamily Origination teams. Next summer, she will be joining Bank of America as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst.     Heonjae Lee is a junior in Columbia College studying Financial Economics. In his sophomore summer, he worked as an investment intern at Equis Development, an APAC infrastructure investor/developer focusing on renewable and waste infra. In his prior summer, he worked as a private equity intern for LX Investment, a PE firm focusing on ESG and recycling technologies, assisting company evaluation and various research. In his free time, he enjoys watching Premier League soccer (Chelsea FC) and Korean Baseball, and traveling upstate NY.

    Jake Lee is a Sophomore in Columbia College from Maryland studying Philosophy and Economics with a minor in Human Rights. Outside of CFIG, he is Vice President of Columbia Venture Partners and Lead Editor for the Columbia Undergraduate Law Review. Last summer, he worked with Artemis Real Estate Partners (Real Estate Private Equity) and Liberty City Ventures (Blockchain and Crypto Venture Capital). Jake spend his free time visiting small museums, going to concerts during midterms, optimizing Dungeons & Dragons, and frolicking in the outdoors.

    Michelle Lin is a sophomore from Canada studying comparative literature and business management. Outside of CFIG, she is the VP of publicity at Columbia GRC and works with the marketing team for The Bulletin (VC). In her freshman summer, she interned with American Exchange Group where she gained immense experience in product development, strategy, and business in various divisions such as jewelry, footwear, and beauty.     Christian Lippmann is a Sophomore at GS from Germany majoring in Financial Economics.     Leo Saperstein is a Sophomore at Columbia College from Los Angeles studying Economics-Philosophy as a joint major. On campus, he is also a member of Lion Fund and Notes & Keys. As of mid-September, Leo interns at William Hood & Co., a boutique consumer-focused investment bank for clients in the health & wellness industry. He also has internship experience at Weed Road Pictures, a development-oriented film / TV production company, and Marula Capital Group, a boutique investment bank specializing in buy- and sell-side M&A and valuation advisory for middle market clients. Leo enjoys Pilates and playing the guitar / piano.
